Asking A Music Freak Out On A Date? Make It Memorable With These Affordable Tips

If you have finally gotten up the nerve to ask that special someone out on a first date, it is natural to want to make the experience as memorable and special as possible. For those whose dream date loves the whole rock or country music concert experience, your first thought may be to try to take them to one of their favorite artist's concerts. But with tickets to the most popular concerts costing hundreds of dollars for a good seat and many requiring those tickets to be purchased well in advance, attending a concert may not be possible for an impromptu first date. Luckily, there is a much more convenient and affordable way to give your music lover a most memorable first date in your own area without maxing out your credit card.

Find a bar in your town or area with great food and live music

For a concert experience, right in your own area, find a local bar with great food and live music. Plan to arrive an hour or so before the band is scheduled to begin performing, so that you and your date can enjoy a quiet dinner and some great conversation before the music and dancing begins.

Reserve a stage-side table so your date can be close to the action

Because the live music is sure to be an exciting part of the evening, make sure to reserve a great table near the stage, so your date will have an unobstructed view of the show and easy access to the dance floor. If possible, choose a table that is a short distance away from the main aisle, so that you won't be jostled by people walking back and forth during the show.

Tip the band generously in advance to dedicate a special song to your date

For a romantic touch, do some research to find out the names of some of your date's favorite songs before the big night arrives. Once you have a few titles, contact the band and tip them generously to perform one of the songs and dedicate it to your date during their show. Your date will be thrilled and flattered that you cared enough to plan this type of surprise for their enjoyment.

To find out what live bands are scheduled to appear and get a list of times and dates, contact the bar manager or check out their website. Making it a date to remember is easy and affordable when you take advantage of a bar with live music in your area. Check out local places, like Losers Bar & Grill ,
